What is a "unit bath"?
It's the small, molded-in-one-piece bathroom common in Japanese business hotels, combining toilet, sink, and tub in a single compact space. It can feel cramped if you're used to separate bathrooms.
There's usually no shower curtain, and water tends to splash outside the tub, so the norm is to stand inside the tub itself while showering.
Since the toilet and bath share the same space, watch out for toilet paper getting splashed.
